Things have been pretty hectic around here over the last two weeks. Georgia had its Tax Free Weekend this past weekend so work was...crazy.

Whitney & I found time on our day off last week to check out Stone Mountains new Sky Hike attraction. We had a blast, pictures are here. It was nice to finally spend some time outside.

DragonCon is at the end of the month, the first day of it is actually on my birthday. Very excited for it, hopefully we wont sleep through the parade like we did last year.

Saw the new Batman movie, very good. I still need to see the Sex and the City movie as well as the new Mamma Mia movie that my Dad says is very good.

Today is just a relax and recuperate day. The only thing I needed to do was run to Lowes for a air filter for the furnace. Now just sitting back and watching some TV :)

Lights & Robots

It has been awhile so I know I need to have an update. A few things to note are that I finally got some more lighting installed in my living room, Malinda installed them over the last few days, with the typical snags along the way, but they are up and it gives the room some fabulous ambient lighting.

Another item to note is that I purchased ChesterCat.net about a week ago and have put up some fun stuff about Chester. Check it out!

Thinking about wanting one of these. Love Wall-E :)

Chautauqua Bound!

Heading up to Chautauqua, NY again for the Independence Day festivities. Should be fun as it always has been.

I have done an overhaul on my photo gallery section, so check it out by going to the photos link.

I submitted a picture of Chester to Good Mews (the place where I got him) for their 2009 Calendar. So hopefully they use it!

I got a new IR filter for my Canon 20D a while ago but have not gotten around to trying it out so I hope to get some good shots with it while up in NY.

Pittsburgh & WALL-E

Pittsburgh was lots of fun, it was great to show Raiford around the city and visit alot of places I used to live/work/go to school. We went to a bunch of places to eat, LuLu's, Primanti's, Dave & Andys and Pamela's to name a few. I got to see a bunch of friends, hang out at the Tavern and have some drinks. Great trip, glad to visit again, hopefully I can make it back again soon.

I saw Wall-E at midnight on its release day....it was amazing! By far the best Pixar movie ever, and yes I love Finding Nemo too, but I think I found a new favorite. I recommend you go see it now!!!!
